Where the practice of medicine and the love of plants meet

Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology Fellowship, Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine 25+ years in women's health

I am a physician who never stopped being a gardener.

For twenty five years I cared for women through pregnancy, surgery, and the long middle of their lives. Alongside all of it I kept reading about plants: what they do, how they were used, why a leaf can change the way a body works.

This site is not a practice page. It is a place to read about how I think, and to find the things I trust.

My Approach

01

Conventional medicine as a foundation

I trained in it and I trust it. Labs, imaging, and evidence tell me what is actually happening in a body before anything else is added to it.

02

The healing power of plants

Herbs and plants have supported health for thousands of years. I use them alongside conventional medicine, never in place of it.

03

Food and daily life first

What you eat, how you sleep, how you move through a day. These are the levers that move the most, and they come before another prescription.

Wellness

A dispensary I trust

I use Fullscript to share the supplements I actually reach for, at the quality and potency I would want for my own family. Ordering happens on their site, not here.
